Administration & Storage Instructions

Route: Subcutaneous injection only. Administer into the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm, making sure to rotate your injection site with every weekly dose. Never inject into a vein or muscle.

Unopened Pens: Store inside your refrigerator between 36°F–46°F (2°C–8°C) until the printed expiration date. Do not freeze. Do not use if the pen has been frozen.

In-Use Pens (Open/Room Temp): A single prefilled pen can be stored at room temperature up to 86°F (30°C) for up to 21 days. Keep the pen in its original carton when not in use to protect the solution from direct light.
Important Safety & Prescription Notice: Prescription Required (Rx Only). Mounjaro® carries a boxed warning regarding the potential risk of thyroid C-cell tumors. Do not use if you or anyone in your family has a history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2 (MEN 2). The most common side effects are gastrointestinal, including nausea, diarrhea, decreased appetite, vomiting, constipation, and indigestion. Mounjaro is not an insulin product and is not indicated for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA). All dosing changes must be supervised by a licensed healthcare practitioner.
