Take control of your type 2 diabetes management with Ozempic® (semaglutide), a once-weekly prescription injectable medication designed for adults. As a powerful glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) receptor agonist, Ozempic works in harmony with your body to help your pancreas release its own insulin when blood sugar levels are high, slow down the rate at which food leaves the stomach, and prevent your liver from producing excess sugar.
When paired with a healthy diet and regular exercise, Ozempic is clinically proven to lower HbA1c levels and significantly reduce the risk of major cardiovascular events—such as stroke, heart attack, or cardiovascular death—in adults with type 2 diabetes who also have established heart disease.
